MOESIA SUPRIOR, Viminacium. Philip I. 244-249 AD. Æ 28mm (17.48 gm). Dated year 6 (245 AD). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Female standing left, extending hands over bull and lion; AN(no) VI (date) in exergue. Boric-Breskovic 618; SNG Ljubljana 1425; AMNG I 102. Fine, green patina.

The dates are based on the inception f the mint's operation in 239 AD. The female figure may be a personification of Viminacium, Fides Militum, or Virtus Augusti; the bull represents the Legio VII Claudia; the lion the Legio IIII Flavia.
